So, 10 days on a sailboat from the Eastern Shore of Maryland to Fall River, Mass with my husband and in-laws. Good times.
Also, a valid form of procrastination. Now I'm back to work, writing and lining up a new client.
This week I plan to get those first two chapters on the go. As for a little more info on this book sitch, I'm writing it with another guy who has already published a book (Before the Glory -- it's on amazon and published by the Chicken Soup for the Soul folks). I'm not exactly sure where that puts this project, but he's making the connections and the meetings. In the meantime, I need to go tackle some of those mini-cassettes!

Bill Staples? I remember him from when he wrote that humor book with Rich Herschlag. Nice guy. Tell him hello, even though he probably won't remember me (I was at their book signing at the Quadrant)...
Sounds like you have all your ducks in a row--good luck!
10 days on a sailboat sounds wonderful. We're taking a windjammer trip in Maine. Not 10 days and since we're paying, we're not working! ;-)
Pattie,
How funny! I was there too that day and I think we went there together. Anyway, I met him that day and we've been friends ever since.
Funny thing...
I went with you that day and met him there. We've been friends ever since.
Hi, I ran into your blog awhile back and got excited...Except now I see that maybe you're not blogging anymore? I like the idea of the women-writers group blog...
