Plot party!

Well, it was mostly critiquing and a little plotting, but still a great day. Members of a local writers group I belong to got together at another member's home for a day of critiquing, plotting, chatting, and oh yes, eating!

We writers energized the summer air with ideas and I, for one, left with a renewed feeling of focus--even though I hadn't put any plot or issue on the (wicker) table! That happens a lot with writers. Although it is a solitary pursuit, when we meet, we feed on everyone else's creativity and fresh perspective. Thanks PLRW!

That sounds like a wonderful day -- alleviates the usual isolation for us writers. Fun!

Glad I found this blog since I, too, am a woman who writes, blogs about writing, and is sometimes right.

(Actually found this blog because appeared when I Googled "Bob Mayer writer workshop." Interesting how that works!)

Lisa,
It was great--we're planning another one in May. We're also having another workshop in March, with Jonathan Maberry. Check out www.plrw.org for details.

Congratulations on all your accomplishments and good luck with your writing.
